7 July 2019
On July 7, 2019 Baltic Analog Lab invites for a day workshop with our returning friend Karel Doing from England who will teach us this time shooting and developing 16mm b/w film with local flowers.
The workshops explores the possibilities for developing film with local flowers. We will collectively shoot a roll of film with a Bolex camera, followed by an introduction about flower based developer. This will include tips about mixing, temperature, timing and the different effects that can be achieved. We will mix our own developer and process the roll that has been exposed earlier. Some prior experience with shooting film is preferable but the workshop is also suitable for anybody who has a profound interest in 16mm film and alternative darkroom process.
